For party supplies she ordered the construction theme hats and party favor boxes from Oriental Trading, she covered the picnic tables with orange tablecloths. The biggest hit was the chocolate rocks that were sprinkled on the table....they looked so real, the kids were in awe that they were made of chocolate!
My favorite part of the whole party was the construction scene made up of brownies and cupcakes, instead of a traditional cake. She topped cupcakes with light brown colored frosting and dark chocolate frosting and sprinkled brown sugar and crushed up chocolate chip cookies over all of them to make it look like dirt! She used black licorice to make the tracks for a road that a tractor was placed on inside the box! She made the whole scene inside a big cardboard box lined with plastic. So creative and amazing!!
She used varying sizes of cupcakes within the scene, and the brownies are stacked below the cupcakes! They were delicious too!
